Dates Confirmed for NACRA Women's Sevens
The 2010 NACRA Women's Sevens is scheduled to take place in Georgetown, Guyana, on Monday and Tuesday July 26th and 27th 2010. The tournament will take place the day following the inaugural CACSO Games Sevens which takes place over the weekend on Saturday and Sunday, July 24th and 25th.
Guyana women will be out to retain their crown that they won convincingly in Mexico in 2009, though should find tough opposition from Trinidad & Tobago who did not compete in Mexico and who historically have a good track record at both 15 a-side and the Sevens game.
Cayman Islands and Mexico (the latter making their debut in 2009) should continue to show improvement and make life difficult for their opposition, while Jamaica, previous winners of the Caribbean Women's sevens, once again will prove an unknown force.
