12/18/2009 10:16:00 AMTo award a mark the player has to be inside or on the 22 meter line with at least one foot. I suppose that if the player lands outside the 22 meter line he is out and a mark should not be awarded. The reason being that he cannot restart the game inside the 22 with a kick or scrum. |

6/18/2009 10:26:00 AMIve uploaded a laws quiz and an amusing story, both by Roy Harvey, NAWIRAs Director of Officials quiz under the Technical/Articles section of this site. I look forward to hearing your responses and perhaps having a few other tough laws questions added to this discussion thread to keep us all on our toes. For example: if the ball is caught from a kick by a player that jumps forward from inside his 22m, calls mark as he catches the ball inside his 22m, but his momentum takes him and the ball outside the 22m before he lands, should a mark be awarded? Got a question or challenge? Start a thread under Laws and Officials! Scott Harland-NAWIRA RDO |
